A visionary’s dream realised
Every legendary destination starts with a spark. For MTV, that spark was our founder, Shree Mansukhlal Premjibhai Popat — Kakubhai.
A commerce graduate, businessman and traveller, Kakubhai was not content with ordinary success. In 1990 he set his eyes on a barren piece of land on Kalawad Road with an ambitious brief: a haven merging international hospitality with authentic Kathiyawadi warmth.
Built from the ground up with traditional village craftsmen and the dedication of his sons — Hitesh, Yogesh and Dharmesh — Motel The Village was born.
